I spent the last week on Mallorca. I took part in three stages of the Mallorca Challenge, all of which were classified as one-day races. For me, the more mountainous races in the Tramuntana mountains were on the program.
I was able to do valuable work for my team. The races showed that I am in good shape and on the right track towards my future goals. My teammate Lennert van Eetvelt was very strong and won a stage. The weather was great and racing on Mallorca, the island where I have already completed thousands of training kilometers, was a real highlight. Next week I continue with the Tour of Oman and then the UAE Tour. I have the honor of completing the summer program this winter 😉. Until then!
